I’m based in Columbus, Ohio, where I wear a lot of hats. By day, I work in home and lifestyle content, the kind of work that has me constantly hunting for the next great decor idea, the next easy DIY hack, or the next product that actually lives up to the hype. By “off duty,” I’m a mom navigating the beautiful chaos of family life, which, if you know, you know, is an experience and not a description.
Somewhere in between all of that, I’m also someone who can’t put a good book down, and someone who believes a fresh manicure can fix at least 60% of a bad day.
Trendy design came out of all of that. I spent years collecting home decor ideas, DIY shortcuts, and small upgrades, first for myself, then for friends who kept asking where I found this or how I did that. Eventually I realized I had way more to share than I had people to share it with in person, so I started writing it down here instead.
This blog is my answer to a simple question: how do you make your space, and your life, feel a little more put together, without it costing a fortune or taking all weekend? That is what you will find here. Budget friendly home decor ideas, easy DIY beauty fixes, especially nails, and every once in a while a book recommendation when I cannot help myself.
